Legacy Mission goes from strength to strength

The Tel Aviv University Trust 2014 Legacy tour was led by Legacy Chairman Geoffrey Simmonds and Legacy Manager Avril Fleishman. Highlights of the 2014 Legacy included a visit to the Hula Valley and Tiberias, a tour of the Valley of the Communities at Yad Vashem, a private viewing of the Knesset alongside members of the Knesset and government officials as well as a morning with Israel’s Navy with an opportunity to board a frigate. Evening events included enjoying a private, backstage rehearsal of the Bat Sheva dance troupe in Tel Aviv, a musical performance from the TAU Buchmann-Mehta School of Music as well as an evening cruise on the Kinneret Lake.

The participants were able to immerse themselves in the high calibre work of TAU and see first hand the innovative research being undertaken at the University, whilst being able to see what Israel has to offer in a unique and personally curated experience.

Participants spoke warmly of the Tour:

I am proud to be part of such a special group of people – independent, diverse, intelligent, generous and united by a common bond – our love for the State of Israel – its future held in the best possible hands of TAU.”

An amazing and uplifting experience, brilliantly planned and organised. If you think you know Israel, this mission will make you think again.

If you care about Israel and its future, and enjoy VIP treatment… then this tour could be for you… it is an experience of a lifetime.
